The Characters

Drizzt Do'Urden and R.A. Salvatore are cool! Well? They are. Salvatore is even a really nice guy to boot, I met him and got his signature at GenCon 98. Besides just monontonously signing books, he was carrying on converstions with everyone, and he looked like he was really enjoying himself. Of course, if I was one of the most popular Realms authors, I'd be enjoying the attention too... Anyways, there are those who say I'm obsessed, but I don't think so. I just figure that I have found out that the Forgotten Realms setting is the best one out there, and I am always aspiring to know more about it. I have currently read all of the Drizzt books, the Finders' Stone Trilogy, The Cleric Quintet, Daughter of the Drow, Tangled Webs, Elminster the Making of a Mage, and others. Read on, fellow Realms lover!

The Characters of Toril--The "Forgotten Realms"

Icewind Dale Trilogy, Dark Elf Trilogy, Legacy, Starless Night, Passage to Dawn, Shores of Dusk, Realms of Valor

 The Cleric Quintet

Finder's Stone Trilogy, Masquerades (10 in the Harpers Series)

 Avatar Trilogy

Daughter of the Drow, Tangled Webs

ElfShadow, ElfSong, Silver Shadows (2,8,13 in the Harpers Series)

The Moonshae Trilogy

Other good fantasy writers?? Well, of course there are Elaine Cunningham, Ed Greenwood, Kate Novak and Jeff Grubb in the Forgotten Realms! Robert Jordans' Wheel of Time series is decent. Terry Goodkinds' Sword of Truth series is also very cool, it deals mostly with magic and wizards though. The "Shannara" series is awesome too, that would be by author Terry Brooks. I liked Dragonlance, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, until all of the cool characters died!! I loved Tasslehoff!!! :( Of course then again, I also love Raistlin, the stunning Dragonlance character that Weis likes so much... One of the reasons that I liked Salvatores' work is that he never kills off any of the cool characters.  Anyways, if you want to know more about Forgotten Realms, look up R.A. Salvatore, Elaine Cunningham, Ed Greenwood, or any of these other authors in the bookstore, or check out these cool sites below!!

Oh, yeah, if you didn't know, which you probably didn't, I write fantasy fiction! Go to:   Picc's Fiction

Don't forget...I don't own these characters, R.A. Salvatore, other Forgotten Realms authors and TSR does, I'm just borrowing them, and I promise I won't change or hurt them in the process.
