By midday of the next day after Drizzt had joined the sylvan party, they came upon the site of the skirmish between Zak and the rogue drow. With disbelief, Korlarrin plucked a black-fletched arrow from one of the drow.
"This is Ryllinn's." he said slowly, handing the arrow to Garethar, who inspected it and nodded assent. "I don't want to think of what happened here."
"I am certain that both of them passed safely." Drizzt reassured, inspecting the long sword wounds on one of the slain critically. :Looks like the work of another drow: he thought to himself, looking over the five bodies that lay there.
"Well, at least now I am sure that my daughter is most likely following that drow. But to what point?" Korlarrin wondered aloud, motioning that they should move on. Drizzt, however, stopped them.
"We can not leave the bodies such as this." he commented, looking at them with a hint of pity. "They may have been drow, and rogues at that, but they at least deserve a common grave to keep the scavengers away." he said, looking at the sylvan king, who sighed and shook his head. He motioned for his fighters to help the ranger drow dig a shallow grave for five bodies.
:At least they were elves, and as such do not take up as much space.: he thought to himself as they began the work. :This will delay us, but Drizzt is a good ally to have if we have to battle another drow.:

After awaking and still finding the drow around, Ryllinn had been pleased that she would not have to track him again. They had set off for their destination and by dusk, had made it to Skullport, the dark city of the rogue.
"So, we are here. Are you satisfied that I have completed my travels yet?" he asked the surface elf, giving her a pointed look. She grinned and shrugged, giving her typical look of open amusement.
"Perhaps you are still trying to get rid of me?" she inquired, laughing merrily. "No, I wish to see Quile myself again, so this is the perfect opportunity. Besides, I know a better way to get to the Promenade than you are planning on going." She informed him smugly.
"What would that be?" he asked, debating upon knocking her out and leaving her there by herself. It was a good idea, but not one that would work if she was really determined. His only real option was to dispose of her, and he abhorred the idea of killing senselessly, since she was no real danger to him or his plans. The sylvan elf, as if guessing what he was thinking, grinned again.
Taking out a gold disk from her pocket, she whispered a few words of magic into it and a large portal opened up in front of them. The front of the Promenade could be seen clearly through it, and Ryllinn turned to him and smiled.
"Only favored followers of Eilistraee in Quile's church can do this." She told him proudly, gesturing that he should step through the portal. Zak shook his head, thinking her crazy.
"Oh no, ladies first." He told her, bowing grandly. Ryllinn gave him a look. "As if I would chose to walk through the city. Oh no, you would think me mad then as I do you now." He assured her. Glaring at him briefly for the obvious jab at her sanity, she stepped lightly through, and he could see her on the other side, waiting. Sighing heavily at what fate sometimes threw him, he stepped through as well.

Matron Briza knew that they had finally made it to their destination. She laughed silently to herself in her disguise as a drow merchant, a sight not uncommon in the city that housed denizens and reckless mages. Although now she knew something else as well, thanks to her informant with Vhaerun's troops. Drizzt, the other renegade whos' leaving had plagued the house, was also heading her way. Grinning evilly at the thought of destroying both Drizzt and his father at the same time, she bided her time in her disguise, planning on ambushing them both at once at the Promenade.
